I have lived in Bethlehem Township since 2012, with my wonderful wife, Jenna, and my three young children. I started shooting portraits and truly enjoy meeting new people and photographing unique locations. In addition to photography, I am a teacher at Notre Dame Green Pond High School and I also coach basketball at Moravian Academy. 

I began doing photography work with my brother in the Wyoming Valley when I was in college. Now 20 years later, I enjoy shooting portraits and events more than ever. My favorite sessions are with seniors and families right here in the Bethlehem area where there are so many beautiful locations here in the Lehigh Valley. My goal is to have a relaxed session for everyone because when you are relaxed, you’ll look comfortable in your portraits. I try to shoot a variety of combinations and backgrounds ensuring that everyone is happy with their images. I also want to make sessions affordable for everyone. I truly believe that affordable, quality portraits can be accessible for everyone. I don’t believe in trying to upsell or trick anyone; I charge a flat fee for the time. What I shoot is what you get!

Almost everything I shoot is available light, meaning I don’t use a flash. I believe this helps give the most natural feel possible for your portraits. I also don’t believe in excessive editing and photoshopping. The samples featured here and on social media have very little, if any, editing done to them. After a session, I review the images, renumber them, and upload them. Once  a link is created, I share it with you so your family and friends can enjoy them! 

My favorite sessions are probably families with young children. As a dad of three little ones myself, the craziness and unpredictability of kids is always fun! You truly never know what they will do or what they will say next. Letting them explore, picking up leaves, pinecones, or rocks, while trying to convince them to pose the way I want (and usually getting something much better when they decide to do what they want anyway!) is always an adventure. 

I’m Rey! Originally from Pen Argyl, I am currently studying International Business at Moravian University. I’ve been taking portraits and street photography for the past six years. I appreciate the artistry of photography and strive to capture all aspects of life. I enjoy all different types of shoots, but my favorites include live events and portraits.
